Read this excellent, heart-rending letter Dear Anwar « The People’s Parliament by an Anak Malaysia - Haris Ibrahim in his blog. It speaks aloud what so many of us feel about being Malaysians in Malaysia and the gutter politics of race. It is a troubling commentry of where we are today.

Yet so many comments by people of all races whose hearts were touched too - brought tears to my eyes and tingles to my spine...

Maybe hope springs eternal for us Anak-Anak Malaysia... for despite the hurt of racial bigotry and feeling unloved, deep down, we all have a eternal bond with this beautiful country of our birth and our brothers and sisters. ANAK-ANAK MALAYSIA ALL.

So yes, Anuar Ibrahim, do not fail us all. Please lead well and Bangsa Malaysia will emerge.
